Our goal is to make car hire in Split simple. The all-in rate starts at €60 per day for an economy manual, and that is the price you pay at the desk. A security deposit is held on your card at pickup. Our insurance package is explained clearly. If your flight is delayed, your car will still be waiting. If your ferry from Hvar is canceled, we will reschedule your drop-off.

We hire economy manual hatchbacks from €60/day, comfort manual hatchbacks from €65/day, intermediate manual or automatic from €70/day, station wagons from €85/day, 7-seaters from €120/day, and 9-seater vans from €150/day.
If you are planning to visit the islands or explore the old town, a car might not be the best choice. The medieval center of Split is pedestrian-only, and parking inside Diocletian's Palace is not possible. That is when our other vehicles come in handy. Our bike rentals include comfortable city bikes. From €20 per day, they are perfect for the Marjan hill promenade.
Scooter rentals come in three engine sizes: 50cc from €40 per day, 125–250cc from €65 per day, and a 530cc maxi-scooter from €100 per day for those who want highway speed without riding a motorcycle.
For experienced riders, we offer motorbikes: Honda NX500 from €120 per day, Honda XL750 Transalp from €145 per day, and Honda X-ADV750 from €180 per day.
How hiring a car in Split actually works
Here is what you need to know before picking up your car for the first time. You need a full driving license held for at least one year, a passport (or an EU ID card for EU citizens), and a credit or debit card in the main driver's name.
You do not need an international driving permit if you have an EU, UK, US, Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand license and your stay is under twelve months. Car hire in Split is usually cheaper if you book early. March, April, May, October, and November are usually 20% cheaper than July and August, and the cars are the same.
Pick-up is available at Split Airport (SPU), the cruise terminal, and anywhere within the Split city ring. For places outside this area, such as Trogir, Kaštela, Stobreč, or Podstrana, we charge a flat delivery fee, which we will tell you in advance. Most car categories require a €500 deposit. There is no fuel prepayment: you pick up the car with a full tank and return it full. Drop-off works the same way.
When to call us instead of clicking
You should call us if you need a last-minute car rental in peak season (July, August), the first half of September, or Easter week. Online booking systems usually show "no availability" by 9 a.m. on those days. But we often have a car or two set aside for walk-ins and callers. Especially if you are flexible about the vehicle type.
