Pick up your car from Split Airport
Split Airport (SPU) is a small, modern terminal located about 25 minutes by road from Split. The arrivals hall has counters from major rental companies, and in July and August, those counters often have queues. Flarent, as a company, offers a different experience. When you get off at Split Airport, the driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name. By the time you walk out, your car and paperwork are ready in the designated rental parking area.
The handover is very simple. You sign one A4 page in English, do a quick walk-around with photos taken on our phone and shared to yours, and receive the keys. Don't forget your driving license, and your road trip can begin.
The fleet at Flarent
All rental cars in Split are owned directly by Flarent. Our Split Airport fleet includes eight categories:

If you are traveling with children, you can add child seats. We have Group 0+ (rear-facing infant), Group 1 (for children aged nine months to four years), and Group 2/3 (booster) seats available at the airport. Just let us know your child's age and weight when you book, and the right seat will be ready in your car.
After-hours arrivals - late flights, early flights, delayed flights
Split Airport has about 70 direct routes in peak summer, with flights from all over Europe. Flarent's airport handover service is available from 08:00 to 20:00 every day of the year. If your flight is delayed and arrives at 02:00, we will still deliver your car.
There is a €100 after-hours surcharge to cover the driver, and we will ask you to confirm as soon as you board your original flight. No booking is ever left stranded. Your car will always be ready for your journey.
Returning the car at the Split Airport
If you are flying out of Split, returning your car at SPU is easy. Park in the designated return lane, message your driver, do a quick walk-around, sign one page, and head to the main terminal. We recommend arriving 90 minutes before departure on peak August Saturdays, 60 minutes before departure during the shoulder season, and 45 minutes before departure in the off-season.
